What Would the Dogs Say?

Why do people have dogs? Because they make us feel better, they provide us with friendship and they never ask for much in return. But if they could ask for something, they might want us to make sure the environment in which they are running around and playing is not harmed due to their existence, and your care procedures. So when purchasing products for your pooch, you can be eco-friendly. Provided below are ways in which to do so!

Playing Dress Up

When girls and boys are young they enjoy dressing up their dolls and action figures. When they get older that playfulness often continues with dressing up their dogs. This fun fantasy can continue while also remembering that you have matured and now need to also stay environmentally conscious.

This is made possible by “Doggie Style”. They provide organic puppy sweaters and accessories, as well as organic treats that you can use as rewards when your puppy behaves while you dress him or her.

In addition to puppies, if you are lucky enough to have a very calm kitty, you can also dress them up with organic clothing from “Doggie Style.” Lucky for “Philadelphians” (no, not the 17th century Protestant group from England) there are four “Doggie Style” stores in the Philadelphia area. You can find these locations and more information at Doggie Style.

Pick it Up

Most people understand that when they take their dogs for a walk they must also bring along some type of bag to pick up their Doggie’s “Do-Dos”. A dog’s droppings are 100% biodegradable but we pick it up because we do not want someone stepping in it before it has become part of the earth; also in many locations this is required by law. But once someone picks up the biodegradable matter and puts it in a plastic bag, it can take up to 100 years for it to decompose.

That seems pretty silly, to take something that would normally decompose in less than a week and keep it around for another 100 years. It’s like when you get deodorant on your shirt and then just try rubbing it off or putting some water on it; you know this process barely works, is going to take a lot of effort and takes longer than if you would just throw it in the washer.

Well now you can make sure that “doggie-do” is gone in the matter of time that it should be. “Bio Bag Dog” can be thrown away with other biodegradable compost, where micro-organisms can have their fill and quickly consume the droppings along with the bag you used. No more 100 year old doggie “do-do”! You can find more ways to keep your best friend eco-friendly in the area by visiting Green Valleys Association located in Northern Chester County, PA at the Exclusively Green Market.

Hold IT!

There are many laws that go along with owning a dog, and one of them is very important to you and your neighbors. You must make sure your dog is kept on a leash or in a fenced in area.

When taking your dog for a walk in that fresh environment, why not make sure they are wearing a leash that is extremely comfortable and also great for the environment? An organic leash, as well as many other organic products, can be found at Buzzy’s Bow Wow Meow store (try saying that three times fast!).

This store is not just any other pet store; it is a department store for pets. And who doesn’t love department stores? They offer everything in one stop, and they also offer everything in organic varieties!

Buzzy’s Bow Wow Meow Store also has some pets available for adoption at their store and they host many adoption events. So, if you want to give a loving pet a loving home, and start them off right with some new organic products, you can visit Buzzy’s Bow Wow Meow Store at 701 Montgomery Ave, Narberth, PA.
