Home Efficiency Consultants perform Home Efficiency Checkups which includes a combination of sit down review with the homeowner and a one to two hour walk-through session of the home where the consultants use a comprehensive check list to identify problem areas that waste utilities. After the Home Efficiency Consultant has completed the walk through, they will sit down with the homeowner to go over their findings, make initial recommendations and answer the homeowners questions. In advance of the Home Efficiency Checkup, the consultant will ask the homeowner to have on hand as many utility bills as possible from the past year, and following the session, the Home Efficiency Consultant will prepare a through report based on the findings during the consultation.
