Word is just in that Exelon CEO John Rowe announced that Exelon will be leaving the US Chamber of Commerce. Exelon supports federal climate legislation, and joins PG&E and PNM Resources in leaving the US Chamber.

Rowe made the announcement during a speech this morning at the American Council for an Energy Efficiency Economy, according to folks who were at the event.

Exelon issued a formal press release on this, announcing that "Exelon will not be renewing its membership in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce due to the organization's opposition to climate legislation."
