This event caught our attention, not only because of Mike Tollin's exceptional career, but also because he is donating his speaking compensation for this event to a charity that supports higher education (see below).

Event Overview:

An evening with Mike Tollin, executive producer of the ESPN/Netflix documentary series on Michael Jordan, The Last Dance.

Join Main Line School Night (MLSN) for a special evening with Havertown's own, Mike Tollin, one of the founding producers of the acclaimed 30 For 30 series, executive producer of the ESPN/Netflix documentary series on Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, The Last Dance (perhaps the most-watched documentary series enjoyed during the Covid shut down and of all time), and director of the Academy Award-nominated documentary, Hank Aaron: Chasing the Dream. Known as the "Hollywood Guy" by his closest friends and as the "Philly Guy" in Los Angeles, Mike will be interviewed by Lou Tilley, veteran Philadelphia sportscaster, host and producer, and president of Lou Tilley Media.

Mike will share his personal story and take you inside his prolific professional career in film, television, and documentary production, often rooted in the world of sports but including other genres largely appealing to kids and families. Presentation followed by Q&A. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Philadelphia Futures.
