Summer tours this year feature rock band The Fray with special guest Jack's Mannequin. Since their last tour, the headlining rock band became aware of the "green" trend , so in addition to touring the country, the band partnered with environmental group REVERB to "green this summer's tour." REVERB is a nonprofit organization, founded by Lauren Sullivan and her husband Adam Gardner (Guster guitarist/vocalist), educating musicians and their fans to become more environmentally aware. So far, REVERB has greened 70 tours reaching more than 8millions fans.

At each concert, REVERB will set up Eco-Villages in the concessions area. These stations offer giveaways, free samples, awareness stations and tips, voter registration tables and volunteer forms for local groups. The Fray will assist in taking action by their use of biodegradable products, sale of ecofriendly merchandise and organic food, carpooling services offered to fans and calculations of the carbon footprint of all energy used throughout the tour.

The tour visits the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ on June 19th and the Susquehanna Bank Center in Philadelphia, PA on June 24th. To learn more about your own carbon footprint or about The Fray's Summer Tour. Read more about Reverb .
