Australian Victoria Secret “Angel,” Miranda Kerr appears “au natural” on the cover of Rolling Stone’s inaugural Green Issue. The magazine issue tackles a number of current environmental issues and involves the entertainment community in the quest for a greener future. The beautiful, rich, and famous share their environmental views in this month’s Rolling Stone. Victoria Secret “Angel,” Miranda Kerr not only sheds her clothes for the cover, but she shares her concern about the shrinking wildlife habitat in Australia. “It is a sad thing. There are only about 100,000 koalas left in Australia. Something like 80% of the koalas’ habitat has been destroyed since the Europeans arrived in Australia,” Kerr explains. “I feel strongly about the need to protect our natural environment because it supports our life- it really is that simple.” Kerr supports the conservationism organization Wildlife Warriors Worldwide, formerly known as Steve Irwin Wildlife Conservation. The organization aides the protection of injured, threatened, and endangered species by educating the public and preserving this wildlife’s natural habitat. Rolling Stone’s Green Issue is a must read for hemp-wearing “hippies” and SUV drivers alike!
