GREENandSAVE, LLC, and its lighting division LED Saving Solutions, is partnering with eco-friendly race car driver Leilani Münter to promote one of the often overlooked but most cost-effective ways to reduce energy consumption — through more efficient lighting.

The joint venture is a tremendous opportunity to attain the goal of reducing power consumption in real estate ranging from high rise offices to cruise ships, from banks to bars, and from hotels to Hollywood studios. LED Saving Solutions provides businesses of all sizes and types and property owners and lessees relief from exorbitant utility and maintenance costs associated with lighting. LED Saving Solutions provides lighting upgrades with light emitting diode (LED) lights that reduce electricity demand by up to 80 percent, allowing a business or property owner or lessee to reduce costs immediately as well as a means to reduce a facility's carbon footprint.

The partnership offers companies of all sizes a tremendous opportunity to save money while going green along with the additional benefit of an eco-marketing program at the racetrack with GREENandSAVE and race driver Leilani Münter. Also known as Carbon Free Girl, Leilani is well recognized for her environmental efforts outside of her race car. LED Saving Solutions has created the groundbreaking "Savings Share" program that gives property owners and managers a $0 start-up cost advantage since they only pay for the cost of the retrofit from a portion of the actual money saved each month. The program is cash flow positive from the start.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, buildings account for 40 percent of the United States' power consumption and lighting uses 20 percent of a facility's electric usage. LED Saving Solutions is dedicated to helping this sector reduce energy use, power demand and associated greenhouse gas emissions with lighting that utilizes a fraction of the power used by fluorescent and incandescent lights, improves lighting quality and contains no mercury often found in older lighting.

"Leilani has all of the qualities that make for an outstanding partner: personal passion, professional commitment, and the tenacity to implement positive change for generations to come," said Charlie Szoradi, President of GREENandSAVE, "We see Leilani as a fellow foot soldier in the American energy revolution."

"I am thrilled to be working with GREENandSAVE," said Leilani. "They are true leaders in energy efficiency and are opening the doors for all companies to go green without any up-front cost. This is a fantastic program that brings together my two passions: racing and environmental responsibility. I am so excited to be a part of it and can't wait to get back on the racetrack."
