COVID-19 LED Phototherapy

We have been following this story since the press release last Monday, March 16, 2020:

For Coronavirus, Pennsylvania’s Independence LED Lighting And QuietMIND Foundation Fast-Track Solutions For Nasal And Full Body Infrared (IR) LED Photobiomodulation To Stop The Progression Of COVID-19 (https://greenandsave.com/green_news/green-science-and-technology/coronavirus-pennsylvania%E2%80%99s-independence-led-lighting-and)

UPDATE:

Dr. Marvin Berman reported today that the ball is set in motion with the first funding for the COVID-19 LED Phototherapy initiative. See below. The team does not need the full target $250,000 to undertake this fast-track project, because the testing is in the $50,000 range to get started. The challenge is that the testing laboratory may close by Monday the 30th of this month, given lack of research work. Funding will keep this project going and the lab open.

NEWS: On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, a Philadelphia area foundation committed $12,000 to this COVID-19 LED Phototherapy initiative, and it will serve as an excellent CHALLENGE GRANT for other donations.

The funding goes to our collaboration partner QuietMIN Foundation, which is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable not-for-profit organization founded in 2000. Every dollar helps! Donations: https://www.quietmindfdn.org/
